How is My House Still Standing?

Someone out there must be watching out for us because there is absolutely no logical reason as to why my house is still standing.

Get this...I started making Bailee a couple of bags to put her smaller toys in to get them off of the floor. This was about a week ago. I just went upstairs to iron one of her dresses and not only was the iron on, but it was face down on the carpet. Ruger had knocked over my ironing board who knows how long ago and the iron was just burning the carpet away.

Yeah. I was sick to my stomach. And still am.
