In the Kitchen Corner

As I was sitting here in the kitchen I thought of a couple of other things that make me laugh.

Our house alarm has been sounding pretty sick lately. It sounds like a blown speaker or something. It makes a really bad sound when you set it or turn it off, but it also makes a staticky sound randomly throughout the day. Every time Bailee hears it she looks up at it and says "Statilly?" Which I have to tell her "Yes. It is staticky." It makes the sound about once every 5 minutes. So we just try to stay out of the kitchen.


The other thing she does is tells Ruger "Get away from my plant, Ruger!" I have to tell him all the time to get away from my plant because he either eats the leaves or breaks them. He's always playing in the dirt, too. It drives me crazy so every time he goes back to that corner of the kitchen, both of us tell him to get away from my plant.
